The usergallery page provides a way to view users filtered by name, role, backoffice link, etc. We use this page to reconcile OCC users with our records in EE. One example is that we need to know which applicants do not have linked OCC accounts. I would like to be able to export the data displayed on the usergallery page (name, username, etc.) rather than merely being able to view it on screen 25 users at a time. Reconciling over 1000 applicants 25 users at a time is very tedious. If we had the ability to export this info it would make a time consuming tedious job a trivial one.

multiple users can signup with the same email address. this results in signup requests from user's that already have BBNC accounts. I'm proposing an option in the editor that allows only one signup per email address. the user would be prompted to have their user info sent to their email if they try to signup with an email address that's already in bbnc.

We have emails for several organizations but no contact person. Instead of creating duplicate individual records for each organization, we would like to simply send information to the organization's email address directly.

HMRC visited us the other day and stateted that for Gift Aid adits they would want to see the exact data that a person entered into an online Gift aid form to satisfy HMRC that it was a valid declaration

I have found that when using conditional questions the Yes/No answers are not appearing in the plug-in. This is problematic if you are asking a question like does the student have a step parent or do you want bills sent to a 3rd party. If information is already pre-populated and the parent says no (perhaps they were recently divorced or fired their business manager) the School user would not know that they selected "no" to the conditional question and the pre-populated information would automatically come into to RO. I realize that I can view a PDF of the form but this is inefficient. Also I have a text box were parents can tell the school if they need split billing. At this time there isn't any way to bring into the notes section. I can only bring it in as a comment to an attribute but it is limited to 50 characters.

NetCommunity lack the ability to report who has the elevated permission: "This user has Supervisor rights and can manage Users and Roles." Blackbaud said the only method is to view each user, one by one, to see if the checkbox is marked... very time consuming task. Alternatively, for a fee, Blackbaud Professional Services can run a report. This should be a feature from the beginning. Scenario: If an admin grants UserA this elevated permission, then UserA assigns UserB with these rights, then the first admin has no easy method to report who has supervisor rights.

We already strip all formatting by pasting into something like notepad first but even pasting this unformatted text differs between browsers. Firefox seems to adopt the formatting of the box you paste into but both IE and chrome make the text smaller changes the line spacing and can indent all of the text.

The NetCommunity plugin in Education Edge auto-matches applicants and relations based on the business rules set up in Education Edge for duplicate records. It would be nice to be able to alter these criteria on-the-fly from within the records grid in Education Edge (similar to what's possible when searching for constituents when linking signup requests in Raiser's Edge).

Just updated to BBNC 6.41, and as always, I'm disappointed that only engineers worked on the design, and there seems to be ZERO user interface testing by actual humans. The new version added "folders" to parts - hooray! Not so nice - I now have 62 event registration parts that I've created over the years, and for each part I want to put into a folder, I have to open up properties, click on a search button, find the relevant folder, and save. That's 4 clicks, plus waiting for the part property to open, 62 times. Why not just add a checkbox next to each part, allow me to select all, none, or some, and do a global move to a folder? Or let me drag the parts over to the folders? Use gmail as an example of good GUI design, if you have to. When will the online team finally get their act together, and design useful tools, not tools that make our jobs harder?

From talking to donors, they are expecting their first gift to be charged on the "starting date" and the remaining gifts to be charged at the first or middle of the months. Ex: set up recurring gift on 1/11/12 with a starting gift date of 1/11/12 and remaining gifts on the first of the month. Donor intent: card to be charged on 1/11/12 for a January gift and February gift be charged on 2/1/12. RE does not interpret this info this way. There needs to be a option added to the recurring gift section that allows the donor to 1) "have first gift be on the 'starting date' " or 2) "have first gift start at first of the month," regardless of the date they set up the recurring gift." This will really help to eliminate confusion and help the org be more aware of donor intent.

Recreating the vehicle is hardly efficient nor recommended in any scenario - there are plenty of great blogging platforms out there - What would be amazing is to create a native integration with some of the popular platforms - e.g.: Stream top blog posts into a BBNC page, bring in comments, social bookmarking etc.

This is specific to MATCHING DATA from forms to existing records in Education edge from OCC.
